Lightspeed Promotions, LLC, carries and sources from over 600,000 promotional products, is currently expanding its freelance sales executives positions. We are currently looking for energetic and successful sales people in the New York and New Jersey area:
A Lightspeed Promotions, LLC Account Executive is required to be a independent contractor. Independent contractors participate in a more lucrative commission, up to 30% of profits.

Requirements

College degree preferred but not required
Sales experience, preferably with promotional products industry experience – however, a solid track record in general sales could be acceptable. Regarding industry experience, a candidate may come with supplier, distributor or promotional apparel/cap backgrounds.
A track record of successful new business development, including prospecting, cold-calling and account penetration skills.
A comfort level with commission based compensation
The ability to sell and consult with multiple departments within a Customer organization – procurement, marketing, event marketing, sales, human resources, general management, etc.
Laptop computer skills – email, internet, intranet, extranet, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation development, artwork, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
Contact management system expert in selling and servicing Customers
Home office/virtual office capabilities
Extensive automobile travel may be required, depending on market/territory.
Roles & Responsibilities

1. New business development – prospecting, networking and cold-calling
2. Effective presentation of Lightspeed Promotions products and services
3. Maximize account penetration within current and new Customers
4. Develop expertise in various product lines, Lightspeed Promotions, proprietary lines
5. Effective communications liaison between the Customer and internal support teams
     · Some research time required to provide creative solutions for the Customers
   · Strong verbal and written communications skills
